The Agile Coach should have a background in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and proven Agile training, modeling and mentor medium and small businesses.

You will facilitate backlog owners and team facilitators in providing hands-on support, recommendations and mentorship across Agile teams, notably through program level engagement and team training. Responsible for establishing capacity, regularly assesses and calibrates team Agile proficiency using the Agile framework including direct support of work mobilization activities (e.g., road map development, functional decomposition).

Role is considered an Agile professional whose focus is primarily on the mentor aspects of Agile Methodology to be improved across various businesses and respective Agile teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a clear understanding of business requirements and their technical requirements based upon the developed solution,
  • Understand, develop, and mature the solution design by collaborating with customers and partners to run their expectations and resolve project, stakeholder, and delivery issues in a timely manner,
  • Facilitate communication and coordinate the assembly of an agile delivery team for new team members,
  • Gather, develop, and refine Agile playbook based upon projects, programs, and engagements; develop to be reusable for future training and delivery requirements,
  • Coordinate subject matter material with team members for development of standard methodologies and delivery improvements,
  • Understand and lead requirements (delivery and environmental factors) to ensure understanding and acceptance for results, cost, timeline, risk and assumptions, and customer happiness,
  • Ensure delivery methodology is understood by team to sustain knowledge transfer across team members where applicable,
  • Ensure delivery management methodology is followed on by new teams,
  • Mentor, handle and develop product/project team members. Team size varies from 3 team members up to <10 team members,
  • Encourage teamwork (IT and Business Operations).


  • Bachelor’s Degree,
  • 5+ years’ experience in information technology and/or professional services, with emphasis on domain expertise,
  • 7+ years in IT service management/project management delivering projects/programs and daily delivery/consulting oversight within a professional services environment or equivalent, meaningful experience in leading resources in appropriate environment,
  • Experience in delivering Agile training and/or mentor projects/programs,
  • Sufficient understanding of Agile methods and framework, eXtreme Programming (XP), Scrum, Kanban, LeSS, SAFe, or other relevant certification a plus related to the subject matter area,
  • Standout colleague with experience leading and collaborating cross-teams to deliver successful solutions.
