Applications Engineer

Qualifications:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering required.
• 3 years of experience minimum working directly with sales organizations or customers.
• Previous experience working with NPI new product introduction, familiarity with sales and engineering standard methodologies and procedures strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with specifications and requirements for aerospace manufacturing that includes having general knowledge of welding, coatings, heat treatment, machining and sheet metal fabrications strongly desired.
• Experience with CAD including 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Ability to read, interpret, and develop models, drawings, symbols, and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications.
• Ability to identify, conceptualize, and develop new production processes and tooling for additional services to customers.
