The Consulting family forms part of the Business/Function Consulting track within the IT function. It contains positions whose primary role is to partner with business units or functional groups to clarify and communicate business requirements, assuring products and services are aligned with business needs.


The Global IT Change Management function will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives by increasing adoption and usage. The team will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, as well systems and technology. The team’s primary responsibility will be in creating and implementing a change management framework that will enable the creation of strategies and plans that maximize user adoption and usage and minimize resistance. The change management team will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact users. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.


The change management specialist is a multifaceted role that interfaces with various stakeholders’ enterprise wide. Incumbents are responsible for embedding change management practices into the organization’s operations to achieve the desired business outcomes, focusing on the people side of change. This role creates change management strategies to maximize employees’ change readiness and adoption of those strategies.


Although the change management specialist role works closely with project managers and the project team, it is a separate position and has distinct responsibilities. The change management specialist role is focused on the activities required to help individual stakeholders understand and adopt the new practice, item, process or tool that a project is implementing.


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • ·       Promotes the business vision with a benefit framework that links adoption of change to successful business outcomes
  • ·       Facilitates execution of the tactical change plan. Liaison and consultant between IT change team and core change team
  • ·       Schedules meetings, responsible for consolidating change inputs, such as change impacts and communication plans
  • ·       Works with Change Program Lead to establish execute communications strategy and plan to ensure all employees are fully aware of impending changes
  • ·       Establishes governance & master communications plan 
  • ·       Writes/maintains master "story" 
  • ·       Establishes brand aesthetics, logo, standards of the Change program
  • ·       Coordinates publishing/channel mgt./translations
  • ·       Bundles content for program channels 
  • ·       Interfaces with Corporate /Regional communication leads as appropriate
  • ·       Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • ·       Support and engage sponsors and senior leaders.  Coach managers and supervisors
  • ·       Integrate change management activities into project plan
  • ·       Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • ·       Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • ·       Interact with key stakeholders across the project, to manage, inform and influence successful project outcomes

Minimum Qualification Requirements: 

  •      Bachelor's degree in IT, business, communications or related discipline is required
  •      5 years of experience in IT 
  •      1-3 years of change management/project experience

 Preferred Requirements:

  •        Prosci certification preferred       
  •        Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  •        Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  •        Excellent active listening skills
  •        Highly organized, detailed-oriented
  •        Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  •        Ability to influence others and drive toward a common vision
  •   Flexible and adaptable; able to work in a new environment
