Data Analyst

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training
• > 5 years’ experience in data/systems analysis, design, development, and implementation
• Proficiency in data warehousing/big data architectures, analytical and design techniques, database technologies, programming languages, and business intelligence

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven ability to break down data for complex real-world analysis.
• Ideally, previous experience with design systems using both structured and distributed data technologies
• Previous experience with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred. 
• Prior experience with SQL, Python, Matlab, R and/or other statistical programming languages is a plus.
• Prior understanding of the application of machine learning and unstructured/cognitive learning algorithms, including: 
  • Text mining / natural language processing.
  • Multivariate data analysis and clustering based models. 
  • Use of Neural Networks in scientific fields including deep learning techniques.
  • Image processing & analysis.
