Ideal Experience

PPG is looking for an executive who is passionate about user-centric design with:

  • A minimum of 10 years of UX experience working on established, heavily trafficked, B2B/B2C digital web/mobile experiences.

  • Experienced practitioner of lean UX.
  • Proven track record demonstrating the ability to quantify customer behavior, design relevant and effective experiences that deliver business results.

  • Strong knowledge of task and use-case analysis, heuristic analysis, and user personas.

  • Experience participating and conducting usability testing as well as documentation and presentation of testing results including gathering and documenting business, interaction and functional requirements.

  • Experience with techniques in formal and informal usability testing.

  • Proven experience in A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Experience in using tools for: creative, accessibility evaluation, rapid prototyping, project management, web architecture, presentation, web analytics among others.

  • An experienced UX leader with a proven track record in change management and in delivering results amongst respected digital companies.

  • Experience with further building a omnichannel business of services on a global basis, developing an established brand and nurturing new growth opportunities.

  • A seasoned leader who has built and motivated teams in international, non–hierarchical settings, he/she will have demonstrated hands-on leadership style with exceptional influencing skills.

  • Possesses a balance of intellect and intuition. Is capable of leading in a dynamic environment, and bringing the capabilities and management approaches that are expected in global businesses over $15 billion, while preserving the entrepreneurialism, employee dedication and customer focus of the existing structure. This requires a drive for results, cultural sensitivity and a fairly low ego to balance the needs of the entire company.

  • Able to operate effectively in a complex environment with occasional competing priorities across multiple projects, process owners, users’ and clients’ expectations, and IT roadmaps.

  • A track record of managing innovation, developing and applying creative solutions to business problems, anticipating situations and needs, and finding flexible answers to new situations.

  • Highly collaborative across departments, this individual will bring excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally. Must possess superb leadership capabilities and be able to interact effectively with the executive committee and administrative staff, as well as external constituencies and other key business leaders across the group.

  • Persistent yet flexible; pragmatic; capable of dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty while remaining focused on results and speed.

  • Passionate about the company’s mission, with an affinity for products, services and customers.

  • A self-starter who is self-motivated disciplined, self-assured, performance driven and passionate about digital and its role in transforming businesses.

  • Confident and self-aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong leadership with the ability to articulate and inspire staff, and the rest of the group, to pursue specific goals and targets aggressively.
