Key Requirements
- A BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related fields is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large projects.
- A high level of technical competence, expertise with electrical engineering design and working with outside engineering contractors.
- Skills in project execution and management of project activities are required
- willingness to travel globally 10-20% of the time.
Functional and Technical Skills
- Requirements: Project Analysis, Project Management, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Technical Understanding, Documentation Skills and Process Safety.
- Knowledge of the following technical skills is a plus:
- Understanding and experience with load flow, arc flash, fault current, and coordination studies.
- Understanding and experience with electrically classified hazardous locations.
- Understanding and experience with FM Global recommendations.
- Interest and ability to contact and work with local government offices for participation in project plan review meetings and obtaining permits.
- Interest and ability to understand multidiscipline engineering documents, e.g. civil/structural, mechanical, piping, fire protection, electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications.
- Interest and ability to develop practical knowledge of fire protection requirements and techniques.
- Understanding and commitment to maintain process & construction safety requirements.
