As a Manager, IT Policy and Internal Control, you will provide internal control, and PPG procedure guidance to partners across the Company, including assisting with integration of new acquisitions and system implementations into the PPG control environment. You will report to the Assistant Controller.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee our compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) by connecting with the business and Controllership contacts globally and assessing appropriateness of control design and effectiveness.
- Determine SOX scoping and collaborate with internal audit regarding annual SOX audits and review of results, along with aiding business contacts in developing action plans for control remediation.
- Work with external auditors to review and risk assess audit findings, discuss proposed control and policy changes and seek audit efficiencies.
- Be a contact for Finance and IT management globally to ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and PPG policies by maintaining up to date and accurate policies and providing appropriate trainings and resources to educate partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in management information systems, IT risk or related field, Finance or Accounting with 5+ years of proven experience in public accounting or external/internal audit.
- Solid understanding of U.S. SOX requirements and internal controls.
