As an Operations Supervisor, you will provide leadership and supervision for the Production, Labeling and Maintenance departments in the Kennesaw GA, ASC, a division of the PPG Aerospace SBU. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • This position will lead process improvement/lean projects for the facility, lead EHS efforts, plan, organize and manage 24-hour/5-6 days packaging operation to meet customer requirements.  
  • Efficiently develop and utilize people, equipment, materials, utilities and budget to meet SBU requirements for safety, environment, quality, and business plan.
  • The position deals with vendors, contractors and auditors.  
  • This position is responsible for assuring that the department’s activities are aligned towards supporting the goals, mission, and business strategies of ASC Atlanta, PPG Aerospace, and PPG.



  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent, a good mechanical aptitude with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. 
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively monitor rewards and discipline for employees.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks objectives and deadlines.
  • Ability to effective communicate (written and verbally).  
  • Ability to use computer equipment and software to include word processing, database systems, spreadsheets and other utility software programs or systems.
  • Ability to train subordinates.
