  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical preferred)
  • Minimum  7 years of experience as a Sr. Engineer, Project Engineer or Supervisor in a process manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with process improvement, including debottlenecking chemical processes.  Must be able to demonstrate examples of tangible results.
  • Supervision experience in a union environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities; experience using visual metrics to organize and run an operation.
  • Self-starter; takes initiative to identify and solve problems; works collaboratively with others in plant and with other functions (supply chain, sales, etc.).
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, background and spreadsheet/database skill set, DCS systems and SAP.
  • Ability to interact in an effective manner with all levels of employees, including executive management.
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certification preferred (Greenbelt/Blackbelt)
