Production Operator-9

Qualifications:

Must have ability to lift up to 50lbs safely with assistance of equipment

Must be able to maneuver, with use of a hoist, parts that can weigh up to 150lbs.

Must be able to stand for 8+ hour shift

Must have good hand dexterity and ability to have steady hands when working on extremely detailed, sensitive projects
Must be able to perform density balances

Must have strong mechanical skills, hands-on skills, and an aptitude for taking something apart and reassembling it accurately

Must have experience working “hands on” with hand tools (screwdriver, hammer, sander, wrench, pneumatic tools, etc.) and measurement instruments

Must have ability to operate and read rulers and measuring tools accurately

Must have ability to translate measurements to customer spec needs

Must be able to understand and follow ISO written processes

Must be willing to wear appropriate PPE as instructed and follow all safety/environmental compliance rules

Must be willing to work in a warehouse environment

Must be willing to adhere to company policies and work rules

Must be able to work a minimum of an 8 hour shift

Must be willing/able to work overtime before/after shift as needed, including Saturdays

Any Sunday overtime work is voluntary

Must be able to follow technical verbal instructions

Must be able to read, write, and speak English for training/safety and ISO process paperwork completion purposes

Must be a good listener and be able/willing to follow precise work instructions

Must be willing to take on new assignments/job tasks as the work/department expands

Must work well with others and respect coworkers

Must have reliable transportation to work

Attainment of High School Diploma or GED preferred

Attainment of Technical School training or technical certification preferred

Must be able to provide documentation to support the I-9 process as a US person (either a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident) due to our government contract requirements—some positions require US Citizenship for positions due to handling of product in specific contract requirements

Must be able to obtain Security Clearance

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug/intoxicant screening.

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and physical exam

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment denied party screening and visual compliance screening

Must be able to attend work free from illegal drugs, alcohol, or drugs that would impair one’s ability to work safely around dangerous, moving equipment
