Regional Buyer Business & Commercial North

This position requires the following:

Knowledge:

• 3 to 5 years industry experience with at least 3 years within procurement positions. Business (Consultancy/IT sourcing/Marketing) and Travel/Hotel industry experience preferred, though not essential
• Previous procurement experience within either indirect procurement or through close previous liaison with procurement
• Previous business experience within either in travel management, consultancy, human resources or marketing services.

Skills:

• Excellent commercial skills. Business acumen, networking and interpersonal skills to interact across boundaries to drive value from suppliers
• Critical thinker who can handle complexity and develop and present clear, concise and actionable actions
• Structured with the ability to implement change through strong project management
• Candidate must be fluent in English and preferably communicative in Dutch and German.

Attitude:

• Proactive communicator with the ability to influence at the management level.
• Results focused and actively creates and manages a pipeline to exceed targets
• Able to act autonomously and with resilience in a dynamic environment.
• European view – engages within the region and willing to travel 30% of the time.
