- Ph. D. in materials science, engineering or chemistry or a closely related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an R&D role or other appropriate technical position utilizing materials science; industry experience is highly desired.
- Must be able to work with commercial, manufacturing, and other internal technical personnel, and also be able to interface effectively with customers at a technical level.
- Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project is required.
- Thermoplastic know-how with knowledge of extrusion and calendaring is required.
- Demonstrable experience with thermoplastic polymers, fillers, and additives is also desired/
