Job Qualifications

• Ph. D in liquid crystal synthesis and characterization, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, material synthesis or other related fields with 0-5 years’ experience in the industry or equivalent post-doctoral work and demonstrated success in the field of LC molecule synthesis and characterization. 
• Strong knowledge and experience in the design and synthesis of LC materials and characterizations.
• Familiarity with equipment used in LC material or relevant material synthesis and characterizations.
• Strong knowledge or experience in LC physics, optical properties, LC alignment and LC device.
• Strong knowledge of polymer and monomer synthesis and familiarity with organic chromophores.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform in a team environment and be a self-starter in this rapidly growing multi-disciplinary group.
