Sales Manager Aerospace (m/w/d)

As an Account Manager within the Aerospace business at PPG, you will be responsible for maintaining existing sales and gaining volume share with large (commercial) aerospace accounts. You will provide outstanding service to your customers and assist in identifying & developing solutions to meet their needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess sales and market data for a specific geographic region to assist management in identifying areas in the market where business can be developed.
  • Develop and deliver presentations tailored to the known interests, needs, issues and concerns of decision-makers and influencers within the client organization.
  • Establish, maintain as well as strategically develop existing and new client relationships, this includes but is not limited to the creation of client development plans.
  • Implementing the measures developed within the framework of the sales strategy, as well as coordinating the sales strategy with national and international team members and other departments.
  • Ensuring customer relationships as well as customer satisfaction through continuous feedback / VOC.
  • Continuous increase of SOW (share of wallet) with existing customers.
  • Negotiation of individual annual agreements with key accounts.
  • Acquisition of new customers in the aerospace sector.
  • Travel 50%-70%


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in the Engineering Disciplines.
  • Previous customer facing experience in the aviation market.
  • An excellent command of the English, language both verbal and written.  German language and/or another Eastern and/or Central European language are considered as a benefit.
  • Empathic personality as well as the ability to persuade.
  • Openness, team-oriented work, very good communication skills.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as independent action.
  • Goal-oriented and systematic way of working.
