The Total Rewards Specialist, located in Pittsburgh, PA will play a highly visible role in the execution of PPG’s total rewards initiatives. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the compensation processes, including but not limited to ad-hoc salary reviews process, local bonus process, benchmark with local industry C&B practices, regular local market/industry survey data collection & submission.

  • Administrates local bonus programs, policies, calculations, approvals and interfaces with payroll/ operations.

  • Involved in local C&B activities/process: reports application processes & submission for mandatory surveys and reporting (work councils, pay gender equity reports, CLAs, etc.).

  • Collects business needs, support implementation and consolidate feedbacks & suggestions for local programs.

  • Supports on local executive car leasing where required.

  • Provides local support to recognition programs (local, regional and global).

  • Advises the HR team and managers in the various aspects of the compensation programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business and/or social sciences related subjects. Relevant professional qualification.

  • A minimum of  2 years of experience in the administration of compensation or total rewards.

  • Experience utilizing HRIS and associated technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Canadian total rewards experience preferred.

  • Previous Hourly and Salaried compensation experience preferred.

  • Previous WorkDay Experience

  • Strong numerical and advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on analysis.
