KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Organised approach to work including ability to plan daily route for deliveries.
- Structured in approach to tasks and ability to meet customer ETA’s
- Smart & presentable in appearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Confident, approachable & friendly in demeanour with outstanding customer service skills
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills (G.C.S.E grade C or equivalent)
- I.T literate
- Proactive with a positive approach to issues
- Self-motivated and a team player
- An awareness and understanding of the bigger / wider Company picture
- Must be prepared to take ownership, accountability and responsibility in this role.
- Flexibility and willingness to cover other roles as and when required. E.g. to cover long term sickness and / holidays.
Qualifications and / Knowledge
A full clean current driving licence is essential for this role.
Internal training will be provided but it would be advantageous to have formal training and /or a qualification in some or all of the following areas:
- Logistics / Transport experience
- Warehousing
- Health & Safety.
