Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education required High School diploma.
- Successful completion of the PPG Supervisory Assessment Center is required.
- Must be familiar with operations of power equipment.
- Excellent judgment, decision-making, written & verbal communication skills are required.
- Strong computer skills: WHIMS R/F (software environment), Microsoft Excel & Office at a minimum.
- Flexible work schedule to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- A bachelor degree in business administration, management, logistics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Distribution or manufacturing work experience is a bonus.
- Possess strong leadership skills to be a viable for potential advancement to other leadership positions with the ability to relocate other regions in North America.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and high volume D.C. environment with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
- Capable of working with all levels of management, internal and external to PPG, customer and vendors.
