This position is part of the Industrial Coatings Powder COE Technical Team where the focus is on the development of coatings to support the growth in the mobility market segment. This position will focus on innovative technologies and chemistries.  


Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow a consistent powder process and evaluation of powder samples

  • Assess powder samples by a variety of test methods

  • Scale-up powder samples for customer trial periodically

  • Adhere to safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Work with a range of coating technologies and process equipment
  • Record and communicate laboratory results with chemist



  • BS in a science or engineering field is desired
  • Experience in a technical or quality control laboratory environment preferred
  • Experience with numeric and visual color development preferred  
  • Ability to read and interpret complex customer specifications
  • Ability to understand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately
  • The ability to work independently or well with others
  • Multitasking and recognizing project priority
