The Inventory Control Coordinator – PMC USCA will take direction from Inventory Planning and Control Manager and assist with the execution of efficient inventory movement throughout the supply chain channels with a focus on our non-US and Canada global stocking locations.  Additionally the position will assist with the procurement and management of purchased finished goods.  Specific responsibilities include:

 
  • Use SAP to move prioritized shipments through the supply chain network based on systematic and communicated requirements
  • Communicate stock movement requirements to associates at all DC locations to meet objectives and goals of the PMC USCA Supply Team
  • Maintain various ad hoc reports as needed to support special projects or market needs and respond appropriately to the results of those reports
  • Work with the warehouse personnel, where appropriate, on inventory accuracy issues and urgent execution requests
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers and assist the Inventory Planning Group with the execution and follow-up of past due or prioritized requirements
  • Identify/communicate any opportunities/ideas to improve the overall supply chain performance within the areas of Inventory Control and PFGs
  • Maintain a PDCA (Plan – Do – Check – Act) mindset looking for and implementing continuous improvement in supply chain planning and execution
  • Perform other duties as assigned
 
Require Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. Secondary education desired.
  • Must have 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Inventory Control, Operations, Customer Service or Supply Chain is required.
  • Must have at least 1 year of SAP or similar ERP execution experience.
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel required.  Microsoft Access experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Flexible with demonstrated ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with a strong inclination for action and continuous improvement. 
  • Position will be located in Little Rock, AR.
