Experience and Education
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Previous Industrial Manufacturing experience preferred. Will handle 5 gallon pails, full drums, tote bins and pigment bags. Lifting up to 60 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 300 gallon portables. Must be clean shaven to utilize respiratory protective equipment. Must be able to distinguish code numbers on drummed materials. Oracle experience preferred.
Functional and Technical Skills
- Flexibility to perform a variety of jobs
- Working well in a team
- Reading and following batch tickets
- Reading and understanding Quality Assurance hit slips
- Recording data via computer – such as Cycle time, Batch Verification and WITS
- Accurately weighing small to large amounts of material on digital scales
- Identifying portable mixers and large tanks which need to be adjusted
- Measuring and monitoring key processes to identify performance level at the individual and team level
- Constant focus on the elimination of defects and non value added activity from the process – from idea generation to implementation
