 Minimum Qualification Requirements

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-6 years of direct experience in a project management or schedule planning, including all aspects of project development, project planning and cost estimating.      

 

Preferred Qualification Requirements

 

  • Expertise to develop sound CPM (critical path method) schedules
  • Ability to maintain detail resource loaded schedules of projects in Planview
  • Develop and maintain all level of project schedule and reporting using Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and other program management tools used to support critical path analysis, work authorizations, resource reservations/allocations, schedule and cost variances, and to support cost/schedule update and changes
  • Work in collaboration with Project Management team to drive consistency of the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting
  • Schedule estimating through solicitation of stakeholders to capture estimations of new work, reviewing actual and remaining work. Identify major milestones, decision points, project life-cycle and other project events.
  • Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience appropriate terms.
  • Ability to work without close supervision, keeping focused on short and long-term objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills, very detail oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Proven flexibility in managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent analytical skills for identifying and solving problems

 

Desirable


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® certification
  • Planview experience
