R&D Operational Support Manager

To plan, supervise and carry out R&D activities for Marine and Protective coatings, assistant R&D manager to execute the project and department management, particularly focus on emergent or short-term projects.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. To assistant R&D manager to transfer operational tasks to the team on time 

2. To organize, schedule project plan and monitor the processing in high efficiency.

3. Develop or modify products on short term basis to meet the requirements of development product profile

4. Focal person for the support services that are the responsibility of the jobholder.

5. Represent and coordinate R&D activities in the absence of R&D manager, presentations to customers and attendance at meetings at the request of the organizations.

6. To assistant R&D manager to organize training plan and execution.

7. To provide technical support from purchasing, logistic, QC and production department.

8. To ensure all R&D activities to follow ISO requirement.

9. To provide efficient support to sales and marketing demand

10. To advice management about market development for raw material/technology/products.

11. To plan, supervise, monitor and develop personnel that are reporting to.

Core Qualifications


1. Level of education: University degree or above, majoring in Chemistry, Polymer Science;

2. Level of experience: Minimum 8 years working experience with at least 5 years experience in developing marine and protective coatings.

3. Fluency in Mandarin, good written and Oral English

4. Working experience of Microsoft Office
