This position requires the following:
- Knowledge:
- 3 to 5 years industry experience with at least 3 years within procurment positions. Business (Consultancy/IT sourcing) and Travel/Hotel industry experience preferred, though not essential
- Understanding in the area/business environment of dedicated spend. e.g. Business Services, Marketing
- Previous assignment requiring challenge of technical specifications and the need for spend
- Experience of establishing/monitoring performance agreements, contracts and resolving issues
- Critical thinker who can handle complexity and develop and present clear, concise and actionable actions
- Able to effectively adapt, collaborate and execute within a global environment across a diversity of cultures
- Skills:
- Organizationally savvy and able to influence and balance priorities
- Structured and able to manage change projects through cross-functional teams
- Business acumen and ability to manage commercial relationships and negotiations
- Multi-lingual capability: English, German would be an asset
- Attitude:
- Strong interpersonal skills. Proactively seeks relationships
- Hands-on and results-orientated. Embraces all aspects of getting the job done
- Able to act autonomously and with resilience in a dynamic environment
- European view. Engages within the region and willing to travel 25% of the time
