S&T Research Engineer, Expert – Advanced Optical Materials (3D Printing)

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in engineering. Degrees in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science or Polymer Science will be considered.
• 5 or more years of experience in 3D printing, additive manufacturing, prototyping, and equipment development/programming.
• Knowledge of DLP and SLA printing of UV-cure resins.
• Compelling combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Entrepreneurial and activator mentality with understanding of market trends.
• Proven ability to conduct innovative and independent research.
• Experience documenting and communicating research findings and/or performance testing results via detailed technical reports and publications.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-functional team in a sophisticated, constantly evolving, fast paced environment.
• Successful track record of applying statistical tools for DOE and data analysis.
