SAP FICO Senior Consultant

Qualifications

• Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
• A degree in Information Management, Computer Science or other business-related field is required
• 6 years’ experience with strong process knowledge of SAP finance & controlling, understanding of AA, AR, AP, GL and CO processes, as well as general SAP ECC knowledge.
• Hands on operational skills in FiCo.
• An outstanding self-starter with a commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Broad analytical and technical skills to isolate problems, assess their criticality, identify solutions, and implement complete solutions.
• Be comfortable working independently in a “remote working” organization without close supervision.

Your knowledge of SAP must include:

• Deep understanding of SD / MM process integration to SAP FiCo processes.
• Extensive experience in the process design, configuration, support and trouble-shooting of SAP FiCO modules with intra/cross company business flows part of a complex globally supply chain distribution network.
• Implementation of localisations related to local tax and financial reporting requirements (e.g. SAF-T & E-Invoicing) for countries such as Portugal, Spain, Poland, Romania, Italy etc.

Preferred requirements with knowledge or experience with the following:

• SAP S/4 HANA and/or connections to SAP cloud solutions (e.g. Ariba, Concur).
• Experience in a Finance position
• SAP FiCo Full life-cycle implementation experience is ideal – design, development, go-live
• Experience using SAP Solution Manager toolset for managing changes, transports and incidents is a plus.
• Knowledge of SAP eDocument solution
