Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Indirect Commercial Marketing Services

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist Marketing Services role is focused on partnering with the Marketing and Digital organizations in managing the spend/ projects/ relationships with Agencies. The Indirect Procurement Team, Commercial segment sources marketing products and services in a way that adds value to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with Business Stakeholders from all SBU on sourcing initiatives related to the marketing services spend area: Media, Creative, Public Relations, Design, Market Research, Digital in USCA Region
  • Leading sophisticated sourcing activities (RF-x, e-auctions, benchmarks) and contract renewals as well as new contracts creations
  • Delivering sourcing outcomes along with recommendation to Business Partners
  • Actively managing supplier base
  • Working closely with Global Category Manager and executing category plan in the USCA region
  • Ensuring the company’s purchasing policies are fully complied with, particularly pertaining to risk and reputation
  • Conducting analysis on a variety of data sources to evaluate spending behavior and quantify savings opportunities
  • Proactively identifying and initiating cost optimization projects within the respective scope
  • Responsible for achieving annual cost savings and avoidance targets


  • University degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years operational sourcing and contracting experience (source to contract, buyer positions or similar) preferably on a regional scale within indirect categories
  • Experience with an ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, etc)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, and negotiate with people at all levels, from all fields, both internally and externally (matrix organization)
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new ways of working and operate effectively in a changing environment
  • Ability to work across cultures and across diverse management styles
  • Comfortable in working remotely
